You have a one night event in which you need a sitter, you want to try using a sitter before purchasing a placement package or perhaps you are visiting the area from out of town. The One-Time Placement Service allows the client to request a sitter for a specific date/time and we will do our best to find a sitter. We aren’t able to guarantee that we can find a sitter but we will absolutely do all we can! 

Placement fees are $29/date with 24+ hours notice and $39/date with less than 24 hours notice. Holiday placements are $39.

Please note: The placement fee is charged once a sitter is found, even if the client cancels since the legwork has already been done to find the sitter. If a client cancels with less than 24 hour notice, the sitter will need to be paid for 2 hours at their previously discussed hourly rate.

You need sitters at various times throughout the year. Think of this like a traditional punch card. Each package gives you a set number of one-time placements that can be used as needed. The larger the package, the more discount per placement. This is a very popular option for families. (Limited to individual families.)

We offer a variety of one-time placement packages to meet your sitter needs. 

• There is no membership fee to purchase a package.

• Placement Packages are only valid for individual families and cannot be transferred.

• The more placements you purchase, the greater the discount per placement. 

• Each day you need a sitter counts as one placement. If you need a sitter for a week (M-F) that would count as 5 placements.

• Placements are only redeemed after a successful sitter placement.

• The sitters are paid directly by the client; pay rates vary depending on the age and experience of the sitter as well as the number of kids.

There are no refunds for unused placements.

5 placements | $95 ($50 savings) | valid for 12 months

10 placements | $119 ($171 savings) | valid for 12 months

20 placements | $179 ($401 savings) | valid for 24 months

30 placements | $229 ($641 savings) | valid for 24 months

40 placements | $299 ($861 savings) | valid for 24 months

You need a sitter for 4-7 consecutive days, a one-week replacement for your nanny or a sitter while on vacation. Little Hoot Sitters will do the legwork to attempt to find a sitter. The placement fee is charged when a sitter is found even if the client cancels.

Placement fee is $100.

The sitters are paid directly by the client. The hourly pay rate for the sitter should be discussed directly with the sitter as the sitters are independent contractors; therefore they set their own pay rate. Pay rates vary depending on the age and experience of the sitter as well as the number of kids.

You have a one-time or a consistent need for sitters for a group (churches, weddings, company parties, etc.).

Group Placement Service is designed to find sitters for your one-time or weekly events for your group (churches, wedding, company events and parties, etc.). I will do the legwork to try to find sitters and I will connect you via e-mail and text with the sitters if I’m able to fulfill the sitter need. There is a 2 hour minimum. Even if the sitters aren’t needed for a full 2 hours, they will need to get paid for 2 hours.

There is a $20 placement fee/sitter/date for more than 24 hour notice and a $30 placement fee/sitter/date for less than 24 hour notice. Holiday placements are $30/sitter/date.

Please call 910-381-3152 if you need a sitter(s) within the next 24 hours. I will send an invoice for the placement fees after the sitters have worked. 

If the sitters are cancelled after they have been found with more than 24 hour notice, half of the placement fee/sitter will be charged since the legwork has already been done to find the sitters. If the sitters are cancelled with less than 24 hour notice, the full placement fee/sitter will be charged. Sitters will need to be paid directly. Typical pay rate for a group is $20-$25/hour. If the sitters are cancelled with less than 24 hour notice, they will need to be paid for 2 hours.
